OK, OK, OK!

Hello All!
I have been instructed to start blogging again! Here is what has been shaking with me. I have been working like a dog. I went on "Vacation" with a friend which was everything but vacation. I spent 5 days in Ft. Lauderdale and was only able to see the beach for a whole hour!!!
I have been put on a new medication... Zoloft..... I am thinking that maybe I need something a little stronger.... maybe something for BIPOLAR! lol! I am going to try to quit smoking. I have a counseling appointment with the American Cancer Society tomorrow. Wish me luck that I don't kill anyone or get fired from job.

I'm Back!

Hey everyone! I haven't posted in a very long while. i have a friend staying with me and she has taken over my computer. She is always on it- always. lol! I just had my first Quality Assurance Inspection with my new company. I not only passed but I rocked baby! I brought the score down 78 points from the last QA they had a year ago before their general manager quit. Which is alot because they are not easy. They go through everything. Way more in depth and detailed then working for a franchise company. BIG difference. lol. I hope that everyone is well!

Please Remove ALL Valuables from Your Car!

OK, Even though we have signs on every door that ask if the guests have removed all valuables from their vehicle people still don't get it. I get to work this morning and noticed a car in my parking lot that the passenger side window had been broken out of. It turns out that the guest left the GPS system attached to the dash. Luckily the guest wasn't mad at me as if I was the one that broke the window and snatched the GPS. You would be surprised how they seem to think that it is all of our fault. This guest was very calm about and took complete blame for what happened to him. It wasn't that guest that gave me a hard time about it. It was others that over heard or saw what had happened. I admit that my hotel is not in the nicest area, but crooks target hotels. They know that the patrons are traveling with valuables. Despite what people think crooks are very smart.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE be smart when traveling and secure all things of value. Also if you aren't smart about it don't blame it on the hotel staff!!!!

On Tuesday Greg and I get to go see Mary J! I am so excited! I love her
music and I am sure that the concert will be Super Hott! If it isn't I will be upset considering the amount of money that we spent on these tickets! I will let you know how her and Jay-Z are when it is over!
This is a much needed reward!!!!

Under Pressure

Ok, I am in serious need of medication. The pressure is building at work. My hotel has been struggling for way longer then I have been there. I took over this beast in January. I have had to deal with a lot of things going on. I am heading in the right direction with the areas that were in need, but still have a lot of work to do. I feel like I would have to be there 24/7 in order to get everything fixed.

This morning I got woke up because one of my associates took the breakfast keys home and they had no way to unlock the milk machine or juice machine on a morning when we were at full capacity. While this might not sound like a huge deal to those of you who were smart enough to choose a different career- it is. People will yell and scream and pitch a tantrum over anything. So I had to make record time to shower and get to the hotel before too many guest were upset when they came down. I made it 30 minutes after breakfast started and didn't have any complaints. PHEW! That was not a good way to start off my day though. The rest of the day was pretty slow thank god!

Now, I have to get ready for a very big week next week. I have prom weekend which I am sure that will be fun. During that time though I have one of the presidents of the company staying at the hotel and I have the VP of hotel operations coming in for a visit! I am sure that this visit won't go well. My hotel isn't doing good. Please send some positive energy or xanax my way if you have :)

Missing Person Found!

Hello Everyone!

This message is to inform you that missing person Chris Ahrendt has been found. It is reported that he was found locked in a room at his hotel. He was being held hostage by the many drug pushers and hookers that frequent the hotels in the area. When questioned one of the suspects, Loosey McCrack Ho, says that they took the necessary actions in order to protect their very lively business.

While being held against his will Chris was forced to take part in many of the illegal activities that the group was involved in including crude behaviors with fruits. Chris said that he was very fruity but that fruity.

We are all glad that Chris made it out of the very frightening situation with out any of the many sexually transmitted diseases that the gang of hookers were infected with. Chris stated that he had a new outlook on life.

All of the suspects have been bonded out and are awaiting trial. Stay tuned for more information.

I don't think that we are in Kansas anymore Toto!

OMG! Downtown Atlanta was hit by a tornado last night and I slept through it! Greg and I went to look at the damage which I might add that this area is about 5 minutes from our apartment. It is horrible. The Westin's elevator glass is missing, the Equitable building is missing windows, cars are smashed, the Omni Hotel is trashed- the curtains are hanging out the windows! There are some really cool lofts off of Boulevard going toward Grant Park called the Cotton Mill Lofts. They had four floors fall down! The streets are all closed down and people are just walking around in a daze. Who would have thought that it would have came into the city. That's very scary.

Hey Everyone!!!

It is Saturday and it is great to be away from the hotel today. Tomorrow I am going to Augusta to see Bo Bice with the three ladies in the picture. I am sure that we will have a great time. My Mom (on the right of Bo Bice) absolutely loves him. She has catered for him and met hem several times. I am hoping that this trip will be good for my Mother. She has sounded better the past couple of times that I have talked to her.

Is it Friday yet?

I have had some of the longest days this week. I have had my boss, mentor and regional maintenance manager picking my hotel apart for the last two days. I needed all of this since I have took on a hotel full of problems but it is still a stress filled work day. They are there watching everything that my staff and I do.
Tonight we had 3 groups come in one of which was a charter bus full of elementary school kids. That is enough to turn your hair a pretty shade of WHITE!!!
I am going to bed now! Maybe I will wake up and it will be 7pm Friday!!!!

My hair is back!

Well, my day today was much better. I was a little confused today with the time change. I had to get up super early which meant that I had to get up an hour earlier then super early. :) The day was smooth though. We were very slow at the hotel. I was happy in a wau and not happy in a way because I need the revenue. I can never win!

I am going to curl up under my blanket now and watch Captured!

I have a bald spot where I pulled my hair out!

Oh what a day I had today. I just woke up on the wrong side of the sofa :) I got up though and went to work. I had to go around and collect the bags this morning and that is always fun. From there it just went down hill! It wasn't that anything was happening to me I was just sour. Why do we do this to ourselves? I am sure that I was very pleasant to everyone around me. HAHA! I took a lunch break from work and started all over when I go back. Then my day went much better. I made it through my work when on the way home someone cut me off and it sent me in a terrible mood. I came home and ironed my pants which I found to be difficult. Greg came home and I yelled at him so he stormed out and bought me dinner. (he is so sweet) Now I am better but I have to go to bed because this time change is going to MeSs me up!!!

What are Men Really Thinking?

Ok, So this post is in blue to represent men. I am so angry with the male population. My mother is a wonderful woman and she deserves the very best. My Mom has been married to my sorry excuse of a man stepfather for 17 years. In the past week my Mom found some messages that a married man shouldn't have had on his phone and he is trying to punish her for his actions by leaving. My Mom is such a strong woman who has been torn down at several different points in her life. She lived through my Father's death almost 20 years ago. She has two other children a teenager and a special needs child.

What is wrong with this sorry excuse for a man? How could he do this to my Mom? Why is it that it is so hard for men to grow up and be a "Man"? Why do they only think with the wrong head? You don't run off after 17 years of marriage to be with some stupid little BEEP! I am so angry.

I hate seeing my mother unhappy. She has given her entire life to pleasing men and her children. When does it get returned to her? She is a better person then me. She wants to be nice to him where as I would be anything but nice.
I told her that I was going to bring over some angry women movies like Diary of a Mad Black Woman. She could get a pointer or two from Madea like Hot Grits and an Iron Skillet! HA!
